University of Education expels over 35 level 100 student

Management of the University of Education, Winneba has withdrawn the admissions of 38 Level 100 students, over their failure to meet required academic standards in their first academic year.
Following their inability to attain a minimum CGPA requirement of 1.0, the students have been withdrawn from the school in accordance with section 4.2.1 of the Revised Undergraduate Students Handbook (2019).
According to a Memo by the department of Social Studies education, the affected student are ineligible to attend Level 200 lectures or participate in mid-semester or end-of-semester exams for Level 200 courses. They were given counseling before their withdrawal was announced.
