TGMA Organizers Set New Standard with This Year’s Red Carpet Experience

This year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) red carpet is set to appear slightly different from the previous years as organizers of the prestigious awards scheme have announced a few changes regarding the rollout of the red carpet moments.

The new change involves a limitation on appearances for the red carpet this year.

This new change aims to ensure orderliness and sanity on the red carpet as the previous events had been critiqued for poor red carpet sessions. With this new change, only invited celebrities and dignitaries will be allowed to grace the red carpet.

The organizers have announced that there will be two red carpet sessions this year. The first will be for general interviews and photoshoots and the other for the actual “who are you wearing” moments, where viewers are promised to witness a true fashion spectacle.

In previous events of the TGMA, the red carpet had been treated as a normal affair where celebrities get on the platform with casual clothes, a norm that has sparked conversations online. Rightfully so!

The red carpet is an opportunity to celebrate fashion and bedazzle fans and audiences with beautiful designs and styles but that factor is mostly missing from Ghanaian red carpets.

Now with a strict invitation rule, only the best of the best will be invited to grace the main red carpet, a move which promises to project the best of Ghanaian design and style and would be broadcast live.
