South Sudan returns Mexican deportee to Juba from the US to Mexico

On Saturday, South Sudan repatriated a Mexican national who was previously deported to Juba by the United States in July, according to the foreign ministry.
South Sudan and assured that the national would not face any form of torture, inhumane treatment as well as an unfair prosecution upon arrival.
The national, Jesus Munõz Gutierrez was received by Mexico’s designated ambassador, Alejandro Ives Estivill, on Friday when he arrived, said the report.
However, Gutierrez was out of reach for any comments.
Juba has reiterated its commitment to collaborating with international partners to ensure safe and humane return of other six country nationals in South Sudan after they were deported from the United States.
