Salaries of Zoomlion workers may be increased – Local Government Minister

Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs and Member of Parliament for Banda, Ahmed Ibrahim has revealed that plans are underway to increase the salaries of Zoomlion Ghana Limited workers.
There have been serious concerns raised regarding the low income earned by Zoomlion Ghana workers despite the magnitude of work required of them.
Honourable Ahmed Ibrahim in an interview disclosed that he has “engaged with the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency to see how we can increase the salaries of Zoomlion Workers.”
He also assured his dedication to ensuring that the institution is duly supported in terms of timely and proper disposal and recycling of waste.
He also emphasized that efforts are in place to reform Zoomlion to ensure good hygiene and sanitation.
The efforts of Zoomlion Ghana to recycle waste in Ghana cannot be overlooked. Zoomlion Ghana has contributed significantly to promoting public health and environmental sanitation.
