A recent burglary at the Symbols Yehweh International Church in Achinakrom, in the Ejisu municipality of the Ashanti Region, has left many in awe. The Robbers raided the church premises and made away with some church instruments.

The theft was discovered when church members arrived for their Tuesday evening service, finding that the burglar-proof bars had been removed and numerous items stolen.

Instead of money, they made away with various musical instruments and electronic gadgets, including guitars, generators, microphones, and even Bibles.

The head pastor of the church, Rev. Richard Antwi, who expressed his concerns about the rising social problems in the area, noted that many young people refuse to work.

He emphasized that this was not the first time a church in Achinakrom had been targeted and appealed to the police for better security to prevent future thefts, saying, “The people of Achinakrom need protection. Without it, these thefts will keep happening, and it’s becoming unbearable.”
