President Mahama terminates Sandra Opoku’s appointment as Director of Tema Port

As of April 17, 2025, Sandra Opoku’s position as Director at Tema Port has been terminated by H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

Details of this termination have not yet been disclosed.

However, any developments regarding this issue should be stated when official statements are issued.

The former director at Tema Port was appointed in 2019 by former President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, making her the first female director of the Tema Port.

Before holding that position, she was the general manager of the legal division at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority.
