NPP youth executives pick flagbearer forms for Dr Bryan Acheampong

Some youths of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives have formerly picked up a nomination form on behalf of Dr. Bryan Acheampong to run for the flagbearership race of the party in 2026.
The group successfully completed the process at the NPP national headquarters in Accra before presenting the forms to the former Tema West MP and Campaign Manager for Dr. Acheampong, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah.
Mr. Carlos Ahenkorah shared that the move signifies vote of confidence in Dr. Acheampong.
“This is not just about picking forms; it’s about the future of the NPP and Ghana,” he said. “When the youth take this initiative, it shows they believe in a leader who can unite our party, deliver on his promises, and secure victory in 2028.”
He guaranteed that the campaign would centre on unity, competence, and towards positive results for the party and the country.
Some members of team also spoke highly of Dr. Acheampong’s track record in public service, notably in agriculture.
They also stated their shared vision with Dr. Acheampong which they believe will lead to victory in the 2028 general elections for the NPP.
This gesture by the youth is seen as one to boost Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s momentum in a primaries that will be fiercely contested and eventually select the New Patriotic Party’s representative in the general elections.
The NPP has scheduled their primaries for 31st January, 2026.
