Versatile Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has achieved a remarkable feat in her music career as dancehall heavyweight Mavado has announced new music with the beloved artist.

Wendy Shay was spotted on what looked like a music video set with the legendary dancehall artist.

Mavado confirmed the collaboration by posting the said video on Instagram with the caption, “New music this Friday.🔥@wendyshayofficial.”

This comes on the heels of Wendy Shay releasing a chart-topping single titled “Too Late.”

This collaboration between Mavado and Wendy Shay highlights the significance of collaborations, especially international collaborations. Artists can tap into the market and fan base of the other artist, which in turn results in an increase in the artists’ commercial success.

The new tune will be released on Friday, 2nd May, 2025.
