Gov’t has restored stability to economy in under 200 days – Ato Forson

The Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, says the government has restored clarity, certainty, and stability to the economy in less than 200 days since taking office.
Presenting the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament on Thursday, July 24, Dr. Forson credited the government’s decisive and targeted measures for the progress made so far, adding that these efforts have begun to restore public and investor confidence.
“In less than 200 days, we have brought back clarity, certainty, stability, and purpose to our economic policy in the nation,” he told Parliament.
Dr. Forson also stressed that the ongoing recovery is not just reflected in statistics, but is already being felt by Ghanaians and the business community.
“We have made significant progress and the signs of recovery are obvious, evident, noticeable and visible, tangible, and they are being felt,” he said.
