Ghana to Host Major Mining and Minerals Convention in August 2025

Ghana is set to welcome a major industry gathering, the Mining and Minerals Convention 2025, which aims to spark a renewed focus on the country’s mineral sector, especially gold. The two-day event will take place from August 26–27, 2025, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.
The convention is being organized by MeetingsCo, in collaboration with key institutions, and will run under the theme “Shaping the Future of Ghana.” It is expected to bring together a wide range of participants, including government leaders, mining companies, investors, and experts from both local and international circles.
The gathering will encourage conversations on sustainable growth, innovation, and investment in Ghana’s mineral resources. It will also create opportunities for building partnerships between the public and private sectors while supporting efforts to modernize the extractive industry.
The event will feature speeches from national leaders and sector experts, as well as discussions on improving transparency, responsible mining, and increasing the value Ghana derives from its natural resources.
