National Chief Imam cautions Muslims against lawlessness

The National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, urged all Muslims to avoid lawlessness and prioritize virtuous acts during the 2025 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
Eid-ul-Fitr is a significant festival on the Islamic calendar and is celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

The National Chief Imam noted that times like these bring about the essence of living lives devoid of lawlessness.
Speaking at the celebration, the spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, said, “Lawlessness is something that must be eschewed as we celebrate on a day like this, so all will see the beauty, and together in unison we shall say, ‘Glory and Mercy be to Allah.
“And we, in unison, will sing his grace and his praises as we give him the praise. Alhamdulillah, all thanks and praises are due to Allah. We magnify him by saying Allahu Akbar; he is most great. There is no one worthy of worship except Allah alone.”
