Black Sherif Releases His Highly Anticipated Sophomore Album

Black Sherif, Iron Boy Album
Ghanaian music sensation, Black Sherif has released his highly anticipated album, Ironboy. The fifteen-track body of work features Nigerian artists Seyi Vibes and Fireboy DML on “Sin City” and “So it Goes” respectively.
The album was preceded by the release of the official music video for “Rebel Music” which set the tone for the album. The music video, directed by Babs Direction featured very dreamy, apocalyptic symbolisms of Ghanaian sites like the Adomi Bridge and has garnered massive traction surpassing 400,000 views on YouTube in under 20 hours.
The title, Ironboy is rumoured to be a tribute to the 1998 Amakye Dede classic, Iron Boy.
This album has sparked conversations on social media. One such conversation is that Black Sherif seems to be taking digs at other musicians. Although no names were mentioned, fans were putting events and scenarios together to decode the hidden meanings in some of the lyrics.
Another conversation that’s been sparked following the release of this album is the question of whether or not the new album surpasses his debut album, “The Villain I Never Was” in terms of quality.
Black Sherif continues to thrive in his music career regardless of the critiques and opinions. With this new album, he is set to go on tour in North America.
