Black Sherif Earns 2025 BET Awards Nomination

Ghanaian music icon Black Sherif has once again made it on a global stage by earning himself a prestigious nomination at the 2025 BET Awards. The star has been nominated in the Best International Act category.
Set to take place on Monday, June 9, the 2025 BET Awards will spotlight the very best in music, culture, and entertainment and Black Sherif’s inclusion is a moment of immense pride for both Ghana and the wider African music community.
He will compete against a diverse list of international artists including Tyla from South Africa, Rema and Ayra Starr from Nigeria, Any Gabrielly and Luanna from Brazil, Basky and Ezra Collective from the UK, and Joé Dwèt Filé and SDM from France.
The 23-year-old artist has recently had major hits from his latest album, Iron Boy with songs like So it Goes, Sacrifice, Victory song and Soma Obi. This has further proved his stance in the entertainment and music industry.
Black Sherif will be looking forward to pick this award to make a double after previously winning the Best International Flow at the BET Hip Hop Awards in 2023.
