Renowned Ghanaian actor and TV personality Akwasi Boadi, widely known in showbiz circles as Akrobeto, was reportedly involved in a car accident. The unfortunate incident occurred on Friday, 23rd May, 2025, on his way to Kumasi.

Akrobeto recounted the incident, stating that a heavy-duty truck crashed into Akrobeto’s Toyota SUV. The Toyota SUV was dragged for about 30 meters before coming to a halt. The accident caused severe damage to Akrobeto’s car, but luckily, neither he nor his passenger were injured.

He said “The car rammed into mine and dragged me for about 30 meters before the articulator came to a halt for me to also come to a stop. The entire place became crowded in less than five minutes.”

Following the accident, Akrobeto was taken to Kumasi hospital where he was examined by doctors who confirmed that he had not sustained any injuries and that he was fine.

Akrobeto has expressed his profound gratitude to Ghanaians who have shown love and support during an experience as traumatic as this. He has also assured Ghanaians that he is fit and no harm has been done.

“After looking at my car and myself, the doctor told me, ‘Your God is a big God.’ Nothing bad happened to me,” he shared.
