Abeiku Santana affirms his new role as Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority.

Ghanaian radio and television personality, Gilbert Aggrey Aggrey, popularly known as Abeiku Santana, has honoured and confirmed his appointment as the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
This new position was conferred upon him by President John Dramani Mahama in a strategic move to bolster Ghana’s tourism sector. Abeiku Santana took to his Instagram page to express gratitude to President Mahama for the opportunity.
“Thank you, Your Excellency Mr President John Dramani Mahama. I am deeply honored and profoundly grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me by appointing me as the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority,” he wrote.
In confirmation of his acceptance of this golden opportunity, he added, “This opportunity is a great privilege to serve You and the good people of Ghana under your visionary leadership. With deepest gratitude and respect. God bless our dear Nation.”
Abeiku Santana is a seasoned broadcaster with many years of experience as a TV and radio personality. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian travel company, Kaya Tours.
He also holds a master’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of Cape Coast, a postgraduate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and another master’s degree from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).
With his new role as the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, he is expected to harness his skills and knowledge to implement policies that would boost Ghana’s tourism sector.
