Thief repents after being arrested for midnight robbery

In a dramatic turn of events, a man caught mid-robbery at the stroke of midnight has suddenly found religion, salvation, and, apparently, a newfound conscience.
The middle-aged man identified as Kwaku Bright publicly renounced his criminal past after being apprehended for breaking into a residence with a weapon.

Eyewitnesses said Bright was caught after forcibly entering a home around 1:15 a.m., and he was reportedly found with a large cutter and other tools believed to have been used in the attempted burglary.
Fortunately for Bright, residents who caught him prevented a mob attack and instead encouraged him to confess. Bright expressed deep remorse, saying, “I will not steal anymore. Stealing is not good. When you are caught, you could be beaten or even killed. I am very sad.”

Moments later, Bright was urged to surrender his life to Christ. Surrounded by local youth leaders and residents, he was led in a prayer of repentance, and he boldly declared, “I, Kwaku Bright, accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour. So help me God.”
After the confession, he was handed over to a police night patrol team, who transported him to an undisclosed police station for processing and custody.
