King Promise Responds to Claims of Ignoring Stonebwoy’s Congratulatory Message

Stonebwoy, King Promise
The current Artist of the Year King Promise, has seemingly ignored the congratulatory message coming from Stonebwoy, and this has prompted wild debates on social media, particularly X.
Stonebwoy, who also happened to be a close contender in the TGMA26 “Artiste of the Year” category, congratulated the reigning Artiste of the Year, King Promise with the words, “Congratulations @IamKingPromise on your win and on your debut entry into the league of AOTY winners. You’re welcome.”
Stonebwoy’s congratulatory message was not acknowledged by King Promise as he did not respond or react to the post. Fans were quick to point this out and suggested possible tension between the two artists.
King Promise granted an interview with Hitz FM, where he was asked if he had seen the congratulatory message from Stonebwoy. He responded, saying, “I have received the congrats, I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t really think it’s like anything to speak about.”
King Promise noted that he did not think of it as a big deal to respond as he had responded to the messages he saw. He added, “I’ve been told of it, I have actually. This morning, I have not been on X. I don’t think it is a big deal. I have responded on a few, the ones I saw when I went on the app, I responded to everyone.”
King Promise was crowned overall Artiste of the Year after winning the coveted award along with other awards: Afropop Song of the Year, Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, and Album of the Year.
