Kwabena Kwabena Contests for UPSA SRC President

Renowned Ghanaian highlife musician George Kwabena Adu, widely known as Kwabena Kwabena, pleasantly surprised his fans when news broke out about his new venture into student politics.

His manager, Nana Poku Ashis, revealed that the talented singer is contesting for the top Student Representative Council (SRC) president position at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at UPSA.

This adds to the list of musicians who vie for leadership positions in the tertiary institutions. Notable among them was Samini, who became the SRC President for GIMPA, as well as Dr Cryme, who was recently elected as SRC President at the Methodist University.

UPSA is set to hold the next SRC election on May 30, 2025.
