Shatta Wale pulls out of 2025 Nima Sallafest

Management of dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has announced his decision to withdraw from the much-anticipated Nima Sallahfest, which was scheduled to take place on Monday, March 31.

In a statement issued on March 30, Shatta Wale’s management explained that the decision stemmed from a disagreement between the event’s original organizers, VIP, and the new planning team, Broadway Entertainment.

Nima Sallahfest has been a major event on Accra’s entertainment calendar for years; attracting thousands of music lovers and industry players during the Eid festivities. Shatta Wale’s participation is always the top hghlights of the celebration.

Management emphasized that the decision to away was not easy. They stressed that Shatta Wale’s withdrawal aimed to avoid conflict and foster peace and unity within the industry.

They also expressed hope that the differences between VIP and Broadway Entertainment would be resolved amicably in the near future.
